Getting cold

Temperatures have dropped to around 30 degrees in the morning. With early snows predicted this year we recommend getting your ice fishing gear out early. It was a great seasons and we look forward to seeing everyone at Stagecoach Marina next summer for another amazing year of boating, playing and relaxing!

The Season Has Ended

Our last weekend at Steamboat Springs Boat Rentals ended with high winds, clouds and rain. Those that came out chose to make the best of their time with one mom bravely sporting a bikini all day long. We were impressed!

Today, in typical Colorado fashion, the weather is perfect with not a cloud in the sky. We are still taking pontoon boat reservations if you call at least 48 hours in advance of your reservation and we will have staff in the store for the following two weekends (the 10th and 11th and the 17th and 18th). Boats not rented will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

End of Season Almost Upon Us

Monday September 5th, 2016 marks the official close for Stagecoach Marina and Steamboat Springs boat rentals. As fall descends we’ll start packing up our stand up paddleboards (SUPs), clean and winterize our fishing boats and pontoon boats and look towards dog sledding season at Double T Kennel.

If the weather is too good to stay off the lake in September, give us a call at least 24 hours in advance of your anticipated reservation at  970-736-8342. If we can make it work we’ll meet you at the lake for a four hour minimum pontoon boat rental for $250 or an eight hour pontoon boat rental for $450.00. The campground might even be a little bit empty (who knows?).

As of right now we will be at the lake September 10th and 11th as well as the 17th and 18th. If you stop by and we have a boat open we would be happy to help you out but our weekends are already booking up quickly so give us a call if you want to go out.

We want to thank everyone who came out this year for an amazing season. Nothing makes us happier than seeing people enjoy our boats on a beautiful day.

Fall Is Here!

There has been frost on the ground up at Rabbit Ears Pass more than once this week and the temperatures are dropping quickly. We hope for a few more weeks of warm weather and then we promise we’ll be ready to embrace fall.

If you promised yourself you were going to try stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) this summer but you haven’t made it out, don’t worry there’s still time. We have added two extra SUPs to our fleet so feel free to come out with a group or come out solo and explore Stagecoach Lake and everything we have to offer!

Summer Winding Down at Steamboat Boat Rentals

There’s just a few weeks left before Labor Day and our last big weekend of the summer. If you want to come out to rent a pontoon boat, fishing boat or SUP, call and make your reservation now so we can be sure to fit you in.

This summer has been fantastic for boaters with very little rain and temperatures that make being on a boat worthwhile! If you are new to Steamboat and aren’t sure where Stagecoach Marina and Steamboat Springs Boat Rentals are located, be sure to give us a call at 970-736-8342.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

Fall In the Air

Fall is coming. The mornings are getting a little cooler and afternoon storms are passing our way once more. Sunrises and sunsets are filled with clouds on fire. At Stagecoach Marina SUP’s or stand-up paddleboards have been a huge hit so we increased our fleet up to nine paddleboards so we can accommodate you and all of your friends.

If you would rather spend a morning or afternoon floating around the lake on a pontoon boat, we have four available – two 20′ boats and two 22′ boats. They each come with a BBQ and dogs are welcome (there is a cleaning fee for dogs on boats). Summer is quickly slipping past, so head out to Stagecoach Lake and spend the day on the water. View pricing for our Steamboat Boat Rentals here: BOAT RENTALS and book on-line.

As always, we look forward to seeing you soon!

August at Stagecoach Marina

August is an amazing time to rent a boat in Steamboat Springs. The heaviest summer crowds have left, the mornings are cool and the afternoons still smell of the sweet scents of summer. Come out to Stagecoach Lake, the closest lake to the town of Steamboat Springs and cool off on one of our pontoon boats or get some exercise kayaking or renting an SUP. Our Marina Store has all the snacks, ice cream bars and drinks you’ll need to boost your energy or cool off in the afternoon heat.

Amazing Summer at Stagecoach Marina and Steamboat Boat Rentals

Compared to last summer, this summer has been a huge improvement weather-wise. We have had more sunny days than we can count, which means more pontoon boats floating around the lake and a huge spike in interest in our stand-up paddleboards (SUPs). Our fishing boats are getting a lot of use as well and the fish are still biting. If you want to find out the best fishing places on the lake stop into the Stagecoach Marina Store and we’d be happy to share what we know with you.

Summer Boat Rentals Going Strong

This year our boats have been out every day. Our new on-line booking system for boat rentals has made booking a pontoon boat, fishing boat and/or paddleboard with Steamboat Springs Boat Rentals even easier than before. Of course, during business hours we are always at the Stagecoach Marina Store to answer any questions you might have. If there is information that you are looking for that we don’t have on our website, please let us know so we can add it.

The boating season in only half over and the weather has been beautiful! We look forward to seeing you soon.

Fourth of July at Stagecoach Marina

IMG_0281

The fourth of July celebration at Stagecoach Marina was amazing. The weather held out for the weekend with black clouds swirling around us but never coming down on us. We had a few strong winds but they didn’t last. Our rental boats were out on the water all day with people out with their families on our pontoon boats, fishing with their friends in our Boston Whaler and everyone enjoying our kayaks and stand up paddleboards. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend! Thank you to everyone who came by.

If you are visiting Steamboat Springs and are interested in renting a boat from us, we are located approximately 20 minutes from Steamboat. View our boat rentals page for more information and on-line booking information. We hope to see you soon!
